MakingEdit

Sur la bande FM uses Audacity to make her mash-ups. She likes to mix songs that aren't the same style at all to make a completely different song as the result. She often changes the pitch of the instrumental or the rythm of the a cappella to make them fit better with each other. Sur la bande FM makes the covers herself by using Paint, Paint.NET, and OpenOffice.org Impress/Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010.

Mash-ups (listed by upload date)Edit

RoBERT VS Mylène Farmer - Personne & SextonikEdit

This mash-up is Sur la bande FM's first mash-up. It first was available on the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel before the use of this channel was changed to Downfall parodies.

It uses the a cappella of 2005-released song Personne by French singer RoBERT and the instrumental of song Sextonik by French singer Mylène Farmer. On the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel, it got 60 views and wasn't well received (0 like / 1 dislike). There were comments criticising the bad synchronisation of the rythm. On the Sur la bande FM channel, there are no feedback nor comments, and the video got 40 views.

Personne is originally a song with a baroque music. You can listen to the original song here(official music video). By mixing it with song Sextonik, Sur la bande FM's aim was to make an electronic version of the song. You can listen to Sextonik here (albeit a single, Sextonik has no official music video).

Mylène Farmer - Comme j'ai mal VS RêverEdit

This mash-up was first available on the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel. On the Sur la bande FM channel, it is blocked in France due to copyright grounds. Strangely, it didn't suffer this fate on the previous channel.

It uses the a cappella of 1995-released song Comme j'ai mal and the instrumental of 1995-realeased song Rêver, both by French singer Mylène Farmer. On the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel, it got very few views and had no feedback. On the Sur la bande FM channel, it is the same (17 views).

Comme j'ai mal is a calm yet rythmic song, whereas Rêver is a very calm song. By mixing the two songs, Sur la bande FM wanted to make a a calmer version of Comme j'ai mal. You can listen to Comme j'ai mal here, and listen to Rêver here. Both are single with official music videos, but they aren't available on YouTube.

Muse VS Mylène Farmer - Undisclosed Desires & Point de sutureEdit

This mash-up was available on the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel.

It uses the a cappella of 2009-released song Undisclosed Desires by British band Muse and the instrumental of 2008-released song Point de suture by French singer Mylène Farmer. On the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel, it got 60 views and had no feedback nor comments. On the Sur la bande FM channel, the video got one like, one dislike and 184 views.

Undisclosed Desires is originally a song with an R'n'B/alternative rock music. You can listen to the original song here (official music video). By mixing it with Point de suture, Sur la bande FM's aim was to create a piano-voice version of the song. You can listen to Point de suture here(the song has never been a single, thus has no official music video).

Mylène Farmer - Sans contrefaçon VS C'est dans l'airEdit

This mash-up was first available on the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel. On the Sur la bande FM channel, it is blocked in France due to copyright grounds. Strangely, it didn't suffer this fate on the previous channel.

It uses the a cappella of 1988-realeased hit Sans contrefaçon and the instrumental of 2008-realeased song C'est dans l'air, both by French singer Mylène Farmer. On the Gabrielle Flür - 1947 channel, it got very few views and wasn't very well received (0 likes / 2 dislikes). On the Sur la bande FM channel, there are no feedback nor comments, and the video got 14 views.

Sans contrefaçon is a song typical of French variety from the eighties. You can listen to the original song here and watch the official music video here. C'est dans l'air is quite electronic. You can watch the official music video here. By mixing these songs, Sur la bande FM's aim was to give a more actual tonality to the 1988-song.

RoBERT VS Mylène Farmer - Personne & Je m'ennuieEdit

This mash-up and the following were uploaded directly on the Sur la bande FM channel.

It uses the a cappella of 2005-released song Personne by French singer RoBERT and the instrumental of song Je m'ennuie by French singer Mylène Farmer. The video got no feedback and 47 views.

Personne is originally a song with a baroque music. You can listen to the original song here(official music video). By mixing it with song Je m'ennuie, Sur la bande FM's aim was to make an electronic version of the song, which would be better than the previous with Sextonik. You can listen to Je m'ennuie here(the song has never been a single, thus has no official music video).

Lady GaGa VS Mylène Farmer - Poker Face & DégénérationEdit

This mash-up uses the a cappella of 2008-realeased song Poker Face by American singer Lady GaGa and the instrumental of song Dégénération by French singer Mylène Farmer. The video got no feedback and 73 views.

Sur la bande FM generally dislikes Lady GaGa, but likes a bit some of her songs. However, she thinks that if the music is changed, the song can be better. Don't misunderstand this sentence : she doesn't claim her mash-up to be better than the original song (that you can listen here, official music video), although she personally likes her mash-up more than the original song.

Poker Face is originally an electronic song with a repetitive melody. Dégénération is also this kind of song, plus a piano. You can watch the official music video here.

Miley Cyrus VS Mylène Farmer - Wrecking Ball & Comme j'ai malEdit

This mash-up uses the a cappella of 2013-realeased song Wrecking Ball by American singer Miley Cyrus and instrumental of 1995-realeased song Comme j'ai mal by French singer Mylène Farmer. Sur la bande FM dislikes Miley Cyrus a lot, but loves this song. You can watch the official Wrecking Ball video here, and listen to Comme j'ai mal here.

Tokio Hotel VS Mylène Farmer - Monsoon & Monkey meEdit

This mash-up uses the a cappella of 2007-realeased song Monsoon by German band Tokio Hotel and instrumental of 2012-released song Monkey me by French singer Mylène Farmer. Sur la bande FM generally dislikes Tokio Hotel (except their third album Humanoid) and is far from being fan of this song.

Monsoon is a rock song that you can listen here(official music video) whereas Monkey me, albeit including rock elements, is also a bit electronic. You can listen to Monkey me here (official music video).
